Argentine President Mauricio Macri is being investigated for various causes that would involve him in corruption cases. The newspaper Pagina 12 published an article detailing these investigations.
Argentina's justice is just days away from advancing on the very serious corruption cases involving Mauricio Macri, his business group and the officials around him. The causes under investigation total at least 11 billion pesos (approximately U$S 180 million).
They cover debt in the Post Office -- which dates back to 2001, 18 years ago--, an attempt was made to hide and cancel no less than 4.8 billion pesos. Also included is the irregular purchase of wind farms and the immediate sale with a profit for the presidential family of 2.760 million pesos.In the cheating manoeuvre they used armed societies even in Luxembourg and an unusual loan of $5 million to the presidential brother.
The list shows the manipulations with the participation of Grupo Macri in Ausol, the most important toll company.From that traded they also irregularly took 2.3 billion pesos, after increasing the toll 250 percent, the stock they sold from 4 pesos to 75.50 pesos.No less outrageous was the sale of Macair (Macri Air) to Avianca, oiled with the macri government's own promise to award it 36 air routes, which allowed it an additional gain of 460 million pesos. Avianca stopped flying today and there are 200 employees who didn't charge two months ago.
The irregular package also includes Panama Papers, where another 460 million pesos transferred between phantom societies created by the Macri Group in Panama, Bahamas, Brazil and Italy cannot be explained.To cover up so many cases of corruption and evasion, the president had the backing of the apparatus of Comodoro Py, who in some cases dedicated himself to directly burying the scandal and in other cases there are open files in which measures of the utmost importance are coming when the court fair ends.
